Poisoning Kit

For poisoning, ALWAYS have on hand! Waiting to take to a vet is a death sentence.

HDFrenchie's recently experienced this scare and this is what I did: If you find a dog or puppy laying somewhere unresponsive and near death with no idea what's wrong, always run to give a nebulizer treatment while placing under a heat lamp to restore body temp. Give treatment for 10 minutes, if no response, switch to treating for poison. Add water to the poison remedy just enough to make thin enough to draw up in syringe and slowly shoot into mouth while rubbing throat in a downward motion to make unresponsive dog swallow. Repeat while keeping under heat lamp to raise body temp to normal. Keep doing until dog starts responding, once dog can sit up and move on their own, get a really yummy meal to eat that they love and let them eat as much as possible to help push everything through system. Shortly after eating they should be running around normal. Give Detox and Loose Stool mix for a few days more to be sure to cleanse all poison from system. If you wait long enough to take to a vet, your dog will most likely die. *One of my dog owners weren't so lucky. They took to a vet and didn't call me until after dog was already dead. PLEASE call me on the way TO vet, especially when there are two of you transporting dog. Another unnecessary death.
